The Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority has been a long-time supporter of the CASA program. CASA is the Theta's nationally designated philanthropy. Our local UGA chapter of Thetas have gone above and beyond to spread awareness, garner support, and raise funds for the Athens-Oconee CASA program.

This summer, the Thetas participated in the Stadion Athens Classic Golf Tournament's Tickets Fore Charity Program. The Thetas sold tickets for the Golf Tournament, and the funds were donated to the CASA program. The Theta's - AGAIN - went above and beyond, raising over $8,500! This funding will allow our program to provide a CASA for approximately 8 children who are in need of a powerful voice.
The Thetas fundraising is especially important to our program in these difficult economic times. Individual giving is down all across the country. Foundations are unable to provide the same amount of support as in the past. The Thetas have really come through and helped us maintain our service to abused and neglected children. Thank you for all your hard work!
