About UsChildren First, Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit organization based in Athens, Ga. dedicated to promoting safe homes for children in times of family crisis. Children First administers five programs: Athens-Oconee CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), Family Time Community Visitation, SPARC (Supportive Parenting and Access Resource Center), Guardians for Children and Safe Care.
Mission Children First engages families in our community and the courts to promote safe, stable and nurturing living environments for children. Vision A community where child abuse and neglect has been eradicated and families in crisis keep children first in their decision making and have access to services that will enable a quick return to in home placement, stability, safety and security. |
