Family Time Visitation gives children and families involved with the juvenile court options for successful visitations. Our staff works to create a schedule and environment convenient to the child and parents. Our goal is to allow family visitations in a safe, non-threatening home-like setting under the supervision and support of a trained coordinator. On a psychological level, visitation has been considered the most important service for maintaining connections between children and their family and thus easing the pain of separation.
The Ralph Stephens Family Time Community Visitation Center
Thanks to the generous support of local teacher and child advocate, Ralph Stephens, Family Time is able to conduct supervised visits in a neutral, home-like setting. The Ralph Stephens Visitation Center features an infant room, a toddler room, a family room for visits with older children, and a yard for outdoor play. The Visitation Center offers families the chance to interact in a more natural, family-centered space, maintaining connections, and fostering healing and growth.

In cases involving separation, divorce, protective orders, or custody disputes, our visitation program provides the opportunity for private pay clients to have supervised, documented visitation with a trained professional. Observation forms can be provided to attorneys or judges as needed and the visitation monitor can testify regarding observed parenting skills.
In order for families to receive our services, clients must contact the office to schedule an intake interview. This process takes approximately 45 minutes and involves reviewing guidelines and expectations. Clients are expected to bring copies of temporary protective orders, custody agreements, or any additional legal documentation that may assist in coordinating services. |
